Dear Mr. O'Brien,

Thanks for your affidavit regarding my small claim (#Y2-0088). I understand you weren't aware of this law. (The employee who hired the junk faxer was probably lied to about the legalities.) That's why I'd like to pursue the actual faxer; they model their business on obnoxious and illegal marketing.

I've enclosed the "satisfaction of judgment" I filed in this case. (This is not the most intuitive form as there was technically no judgment, but this is what the court makes one fill out to dismiss a claim.) In case this isn't good enough to prove dismissal with prejudice (it makes no mention of prejudice), let me just spell it out in this letter.

I, Ben Livingston, dismiss with prejudice my small claim #Y2-0088 against OB PAG, Inc.
